I had sushi on my Birthday

I love sushi.
I think it's a combination of the flavour and the lovely aesthetics that makes me like it so much.
Since Nino worked on my actual Birthday he decided to treat me with a special lunch the following Saturday.

I am 27 already. Wow.

So, while I got some things done, he went to get some yummy food from my favourite places in Valencia and took them home.
We had sushi from "Japón punto es" and Chinese food from "La casita de madera".



My absolute favourite Chinese dish is rice with shiitake mushrooms and bamboo, wrapped in water lily leaves.
It is SO good... yum.





I was super excited about all the food, so forgot to take photos of all what we ate...
The sushi we had was: cucumber, salmon (for nino), california rolls, pickeled rutabaga, assorted japanese pickles, beetroot.
Nino even got some authentic Japanese beer. Saporo is very nice, love the taste, but my favourite one is still Tsing-Tao, a Chinese brand. If you haven't tried is I fully recommend you to do so!




That evening Nino convinced me to go to the cinema to watch "The Avengers" in 3D. Not sure what to say about that film. I am not very into super-hero stuff.
It was... interesting.
To me, the best part was Thor, the worst Robert Downey, Jr..
That's my film review. Ha!
Any way, took this photo while on my motorbike (Nino was driving). We were on calle la Paz and the building you can see in the background is the Miguelete, which you already saw here and here I wasn't perfectly able to catch the beauty of the colours of the sunset, but I do remember them.



What would be a nice post without some clothes in them?
Cute feet shot of what I wore that evening. It rained all afternoon so I got to wear my comfy water boots (by Gioseppo) and my super bright flowered skirt. And my most favourite handbag, as usual.
